Imaging answers a clinical question

Imaging can help assess the bone and the surrounding structures. Whether it is needed depends on the examination and the project. A scan is not a treatment and is not enough on its own to decide the position or number of implants.

Understand the planning

Digital tools can play a part in preparing the project or making certain components. The dentist should explain how they help in your situation. Using a tool does not remove biological limits or surgical risks.

Ask what will be used

Ask the clinic about the examinations needed, the stages and the follow-up. The value of a technology is judged by the question it answers, not by how new it is. The clinical decision remains individual.
