-

Consultation and assessment
A first appointment to understand what brings you in, take stock calmly and leave with a clear plan.
Who is it for? For a first appointment, a check-up after several years, a second opinion or a problem you would like to understand.

Scale and polish
Get clean, smooth teeth back: scaling removes the tartar that brushing can no longer shift.
Who is it for? For everyone, at a suitable interval: tartar forms even with good brushing, especially along the gum line.

Air polishing
Reduce some surface stains and remove biofilm with a cleaning method suited to your teeth.
Who is it for? For certain surface stains or biofilm deposits, depending on the surfaces and restorations present.

Cavity treatment (fillings)
Treat a cavity early to preserve your tooth, with a tooth-coloured composite filling that matches its natural shade.
Who is it for? For a tooth sensitive to cold or sweet things, a stain, a visible hole, or a cavity found during a check-up.
See the treatment -

Root canal treatment
Keep your tooth rather than lose it: root canal treatment cleans out the affected nerve and aims to relieve the pain.
Who is it for? For a tooth whose nerve is infected or damaged: lasting pain, abscess, very deep cavity. The examination confirms the indication.

Tooth extraction
When a tooth can no longer be saved, remove it carefully and begin planning the next step for your smile.
Who is it for? For a tooth too damaged, fractured or infected to be kept, when other solutions are no longer possible.

Dental emergencies
Pain, abscess, broken tooth or loose crown: one call is enough to be guided and seen according to the urgency.
Who is it for? For severe pain, swelling, a broken tooth or a crown that has come off. Please call rather than write, it is quicker for guiding you.

Follow on InstagramGeneral dentistry: your questions.
These answers remain general. At the consultation, we answer precisely for your situation.
How often should I have a check-up?
A regular check-up is advised even when everything seems fine: an early cavity or irritated gums often go unnoticed. The right interval for you is set after the examination.
Does scale and polish damage the teeth?
No. It removes tartar from the teeth, not enamel. It actually helps your gums stay healthy.
Is a tooth that no longer hurts healed?
Not necessarily. Pain can ease while the problem keeps progressing, for example when the nerve is affected. The tooth should be checked.
Have you heard this before?
“A cavity eventually goes away by itself.”
No. An established cavity does not heal on its own: it progresses towards the inside of the tooth. Treated early, the treatment stays simpler.
“Scaling damages tooth enamel.”
No. It removes tartar deposited on the tooth without removing enamel. The sensitivity felt after treatment is often temporary.
“Pulling a tooth is simpler than treating it.”
Not necessarily. A removed tooth leaves a gap that can shift the neighbouring teeth. Keeping the tooth is discussed first, after an examination.
“An abscess that has gone down no longer needs treatment.”
No. The infection can persist under the tooth even when the swelling subsides. The cause must be treated, after an examination.
