Oral surgery in Marrakech
Wisdom teeth, impacted teeth, minor procedures: precise surgical treatment carried out at the clinic under local anaesthetic.
The 3 treatments in oral surgery.
Some situations call for a targeted surgical procedure. In oral surgery, at our clinic in Guéliz, each step is explained in advance, carried out under local anaesthetic and followed by clear instructions for a good recovery.

Wisdom teeth
Remove them only when it is useful, with a procedure explained in advance and well-supported recovery.
Who is it for? For wisdom teeth that hurt, become infected repeatedly or interfere with the neighbouring teeth. Others can be kept under observation.

A tooth that has stayed under the gum can be guided into place or removed, depending on what imaging shows.

These answers remain general. At the consultation, we answer precisely for your situation.
Do wisdom teeth always have to be removed?
No. When they have enough room and cause no problem, they can simply be kept under observation.
How long does recovery take?
It depends on the procedure carried out. The usual after-effects, and how to ease them, are explained to you in advance.
Have you heard this before?
“An impacted tooth that does not hurt can be forgotten.”
Not necessarily. Even without pain, it can interfere with the neighbouring teeth. Monitoring by X-ray is decided case by case.
“Swollen gum around a wisdom tooth will go away by itself.”
Not always. This inflammation can come back or become infected. An examination makes it possible to decide whether to treat or remove the tooth.
“After an extraction, you must rinse hard to keep it clean.”
No. Vigorous rinsing just after treatment can dislodge the clot that protects the wound. Instructions are given to you after the procedure.
“A small lesion in the mouth that does not hurt does not need to be shown.”
On the contrary. A lesion that persists deserves to be examined, even if it does not hurt.
